Creative Director (Leading Partner)

Our Creative Director will support all designers, creatives, and branding experts with ideation, strategy development, pitching new clients, and managing client-facing relations - with the support of our executive directors, of course.

You wake up every morning after the sun rises, walk into your office at around 9-10am, ready to go. You jump on to notice your inbox is filled with creatives and designers pending your approvals, after following your instructions and ideas for what various new client brand strategies, campaigns, and identities should be depicted as. You jump on your daily nooner call, zip through the list of pendings, then look forward to an afternoon full of vastly different projects, depending on the day - mostly brainstorming with our founder and chief media executive, other directors, or maybe producing TV spots, running creative meetings, pitching new clients, the list goes on.

That's how the role will be once the probationary period is fully completed - ideally how it will be after just a few weeks of our rebuilding campaign has your extra help on it as well. For the first half of the probationary period, the majority of tasks will include branding strategies, content, SEO (if applicable), etc. for in-house projects like our website, socials, 3rd-party listing sites. Our primary objective is pitching clients, coming up with proposals, and outreach, however, which is where you earn your 15% equity.

Key Responsibilities

Managerial experience of a creative team is a MUST, ideally of a size of at the very least being 6 or more, for 8-10 years minimum.

Your duties throughout the probationary period will include primarily:

  1. DMD Creative branding strategy + content creation

  2. website design assistance

  3. social marketing + branding

  4. blog ideation + conceptual design

  5. pitch proposals to prospective clientele

  6. outreach for prospective clientele

  7. SEO assistance

  8. manage our content team

Duties post-probationary period and/or post-rebuild period will primarily include:

  • campaign + strategy ideation management, development, and collaboration

  • branding strategies, design, identities, and asset management, execution, and management

  • content + social creation/management

  • TV / OTT production + management

  • creative / design overall management and collaboration

  • SEO / content team management (indirectly)

  • client pitching

  • client-facing creative management/reporting/meeting/collaboration

Requirements

MUST-HAVES include (ALL):

  1. US-resident 10 years of creative / design software experience (HANDS-ON)

  2. 8 years of team management experience

  3. 12-15 years of social and / or digital creation experience strategy development / art direction experience / certifications skilled communicator, presenter (HUGE), reporting organizer

  4. 8 years of experience managing client-facing relations

  5. ideally bachelors in marketing, graphic design, production, or communications

BONUS requirements (ANY):

  • OTT / TV production experience

  • ideally 8 years or more 15 years of experience designing brand strategies

  • 15 years of experience in content creation

  • 12 years of experience collaborating as a creator / designer in agency freelancing
